Zach Kauraisa holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Namibia and a Master of International Oil and Gas Law (Cum Laude) from the University of Dundee (Ranked #1 in the world for Energy Law).
He currently works at a leading corporate law firm in Namibia that represents some of the largest energy and mining companies in the world for their operation in Namibia.
He further serves as the Country Director for Namibia for the Africa Energy and Mineral Management Initiative. This is an NGO that advocates for better governance and management within the natural resources sector.
He has previously worked at the EnergyHub+, based in Scotland, where he contributed to research on the speed of the energy transition in various African nations. He also developed an 'Extractives Country Profile' for Namibia, which serves as a tool for international stakeholders to navigate the Namibian natural resources sector.
