ZACH KAURAISA

Zach Kauraisa holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Namibia, an LLM in International Oil and Gas Law (Cum Laude) from the University of Dundee (Ranked #1 in the world for Energy Law) and an MSc in Finance and Law from Queen Mary University of London.

​

He worked at Koep & Partners, a leading corporate law firm in Namibia, and assisted some of the world's largest energy and mining companies with their operation in Namibia.

​

He has previously worked at EnergyHub+, based in Scotland, where he contributed to research on the speed of the energy transition in various African nations. He also worked at the Sustainable Development Strategies Group, based in the U.S., where he researched critical minerals and global uranium mining.

​

Zach serves as the Country Director for Namibia for the Africa Energy and Mineral Management Initiative. Zach is also a Mandela Washington Fellow and a Chevening Alumni.
